The transfer functions of electrostatics problems

The relation between charge distribution and resultant electric field is linear and space-invariant in any space with constant permittivity. We analyze this relationship in the spatial frequency domain and obtain the corresponding transfer function. We calculate the pointspread functions associated with simple transfer functions in various dimensions. This approach provides an alternative viewpoint for electrostatics problems.
