  • Abstract
There is more to being a successful innovator than having an innovative product. Innovators do not have to invent but they do have to be first, they have to be best, and they are rewarded when they are. They have to be first to disrupt the market in a way that motivates behavioral change, and they have to be best at designing the programs that support their commercial offers to ease adoption. This is true in any market from digital music to industrial machinery to professional services. This paper discusses in detail how to be a successful innovator.
