  • Abstract
The electrical behavior of a system of two disks is studied. The stability of the current I supplied to the disk system was achieved via a complicated electronic apparatus. The disk system functions as a specific kind of motor in the supplied current range I=70-140 A. when it is rotating by itself in a definite direction. Its function. as in the latter case. at lower currents (18-70 A) is the same but with lower angular velocities. In the current range of 18-140 A. it rotates. with the help of a conventional motor. at higher angular velocities. In this case, it behaves as a specific kind of generator. This is not so in the case of the ball bearing motor system. It is also proved that the theoretical value of the Biot-Savart-Lorentz force law is in agreement with experiment, and particularly with the experiment described, in contradiction to other experiments and theories which state the opposite. It is well understood that the motive force, for this particular disk-system motor, resides in the Biot-Savart-Lorentz force law, as with all motors
