Abstract :
An experimental phase-switched-screen that can be used to impose QPSK modulation onto microwave signals scattered from its surface is described. Measurements of the frequency spectrum of the scattered signal show that high quality phase modulation can be achieved at data rates of at least 12.5 MHz
