Abstract :
The aim of this paper is to present an analysis about the MNI (Brazilian e-Justice Interoperability Model), in order to propose enhancements to it based on the levels of interoperability as defined by the European Interoperability Framework, and other interoperability references such as e-PING and e-PMG. The motivation for this paper is the current lack of scientific analysis about the MNI. This paper proposes that the model would achieve higher levels of quality by following some recommendations, such as the use of existing Brazilian interoperability e-government standards (e-PING and e-PMG) to increase the level of interoperability and to expand the borders of the MNI to other sectors of government. The paper also suggest the creation of new documentation for the MNI, such as usage policies, to establish the rules of deployment and use of the model, and the definition of the MNI life cycle to provide continuous improvement through maintenance and reuse.
