  • Abstract
The author is a leading Australian media artist who has been experimenting with audio online since the mid 1990s. Initially working with Flash for delivery of his audio works in a bandwidth-restricted environment, he began exploring the compositional potentials of the software. He has worked with randomized audio and recently video and has used generative techniques (random number generation, permu- tative structures, and graphics and sound interaction) to produce aleatoric music graphics and text. The article outlines the author´s experiences in these areas.
