Abstract :
The results of an experimental investigation of polarisation-induced fading in multiplexed optical fibre interferometric sensor arrays is presented. Measurements, made on a ten-element all-fibre time-division multiplexed array, are analysed in terms of a general N-sensor system and compared with a simple theoretical model.
