Abstract :
Several finite element formulations in terms of various potentials are reviewed for the calculation of transient eddy currents in nonlinear media. A fast and simple iterative technique is used to solve the nonlinear algebraic equations arising. The different formulations are compared by solving some large three dimensional problems by various methods.<>
