Abstract :
It is shown that a fairly large class of transverse electric (TE) eddy current problems with rotational symmetry admits simple numerical solutions and admits analytical solutions in certain cases. The case of a short cylindrical shell coaxial structure with an ac line current is considered, as an example, in detail. Two possible analytical solutions are presented as well as numerical results
