Abstract
An improved iterative method based upon updating the equivalent current density at each iteration step is presented for the microwave imaging of two-dimensional lossless or lossy dielectric objects. Numerical results show that the proposed method yields a faster convergence rate than the original one, which corresponds to a better resolution for less computation time
