Abstract :
No longer the stuff of science fiction, the latest capsule endoscopes are capable of exploring the innermost reaches of the human gastro-intestinal tract. This article provides an overview of the state-of-the-art in capsule endoscopes, which include miniature cameras and biochemical sensors.
