Abstract
A network control architecture and a network interface unit for each station is introduced which restricts data channel collision and reduces the headers electronic processing bottleneck at each station for wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) star-coupled photonic networks. Also we develop an analytic model for receiver collision analysis for performance measures evaluation.
