  • Abstract
Knowledge of pulsating torques is important when assessing the vibratory behavior of rotating electric machinery. This paper compares the predictions of two independent methods for calculating such torques for a specific induction motor. One method is based on classical machine field calculation methods, and the other on finite element analysis
