Abstract :
The results obtained from observations and measurements, based on radiographic sequences, of the levers that operate in the rotations of some sectors of the human body around their natural fulcra (ankle, knee, elbow) are reported. They are based on rigorous application of the laws of physics to human movement, no matter how complex. The results show the economy and simplicity of design in the kinematic chain structures into which the human skeleton can be decomposed.<>
