Abstract :
The IEEE-NEMS 2013 was held in Suzhou, China on April 7-10, 2013. As a flagship conference in the field of nano/micro-engineering and molecular systems, it attracted leading scholars and researchers to publish their latest and advanced findings at this event. This year, IEEE-NEMS 2013 received over 540 submissions from 30 countries and regions worldwide. Finally, 303 papers were selected by 100 members of the Technical Program Committee. After the conference, we received 15 submissions of expanded manuscripts from the conference attendees for this special issue to IET Nanobiotechnology. Note that only the top 30% of scored abstracts were recommended to submit their expanded manuscript to this special issue. After the standard peer review process, 8 manuscripts have been accepted for publication.
