Abstract :
This paper discusses the software architecture and innovative features of PC-based DAB receivers that have been prototyped. The advantages of having a receiver PC-based are put forward, and brief descriptions of the DAB receivers developed (the PCI and USB versions) are given. Focus is given to the innovative application-level features introduced, such as recording, data decoding, network streaming, and intelligence. Finally, possible commercial applications are suggested
