A Recording Method Using a Multiple-Channel Head in the Magnetic Printer (II)

A multichannel magnetic head capable of printing using two types of scanning densities is described. The head shape was the same as for a device previously reported, the lines recorded by each channel were reversed as compared with the head of the previous report, and the widths of the four channel tracks were varied, being made wider for channels further forward. Of three heads tested, one was capable of recording at both scanning line densities, 13 and 10 lines/mm.
