Abstract :
LPE was used to grow (YBiLa)3 (FeGa)5O12 on NdGG(110) substrate and, substituting large amounts of Bi, to study resulting increases in ¿F and Ku and decreases in magnetic bubble diameters. A maximum Bi substitution of 1.26 content/formula unit was obtained. The contribution of Bi substitution in increasing Ku was verified, and values calculated for the mobility ¿w along the in-plane easy magnetization axis, from FMR measurements, ranged from 5 to 20 m/s-Oe.
