Abstract :
Application of a conservative form of boundary condition to the boundary-element method in its indirect formulation is suggested. It has been shown that the use of these conditions not only increases the accuracy of the numerical solution but also becomes a matter of principle for the calculation of electrostatic and magnetostatic fields in piece-homogeneous media that include thin layers and shells
