Abstract
A magnetoresistive (MR) sensor consisting of two pairs of multilayered (FeNi layers sandwiched between SiO2 ) MR elements was constructed, and the effects of the signal magnetic tilt angle, temperature, and input power on the sensor output were studied. Constant current driving was employed, taking advantage of a mutual bias effect, to obtain an output with small temperature dependence. The exact relation of output to input depended on the nature of the signal magnetic field.
