Abstract :
The permeability and other magnetic properties of CoNbTi/SiO2 multilayer films were studied, and investigated the effects of magnetic field annealing investigated. The CoNbTi and SiO2 layers were formed by three-electrode DC sputtering and by RF sputtering, respectively. Reduction in film thickness leads to higher coercivity due to pinning effects, but such effects are reduced in multilayer films because of magnetic interactions between layers, especially when SiO2 layers are thin. The frequency characteristic of permeability of a sample after magnetic field annealing is also presented.
