Abstract
The magnetic properties of a number of materials under high pressure conditions were studied, and measurements at liquid helium temperatures and pressures of up to 35 kbars were conducted. Studies addressed the pressure effects on s and d band electrons in Ni-base alloys, competition between ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions in Fe2 P and EuSe, and pressure-induced structural transitions in RAg (where R is a light rare earth element).
