Abstract :
Kidney, liver, lung, brain, and thymus tissue from SD rats was cultivated using Rose´s circumfusion system, and the effects of a uniform 3000 Oe magnetic field on the tissue were investigated. Samples were observed using a phase-contrast microscope, and though the liver tissue was best cultured among the samples, there were no significant differences between samples exposed to the magnetic field and control samples. In future experiments, other types of tissue with higher growth activity will be exposed to fields of varying strength.
