Abstract :
Colloidal-SEM observations were used to determine the critical dimension of single-domain fine Sm2Co17 particles obtained by crushing, mixing, sintering and ball-mill crushing. SEM micrographs of particles with one, two and three domains were obtained, and the particle size distribution of the single-domain particle was determined. The critical dimension of single-domain particles with a spherical shape calculated from experimental data is Dc = 3.3 ¿m.
