Abstract :
Measured results for the ferromagnetic anisotropy of resistivity (FAR in Fe-Co-Ni and Co-Ni-transition metal crystalline alloys are reported. The FAR of Fe-Co-Ni alloys was found to exhibit a peak at the saturated magnetic moment ¿B of 0.8 to 1.0, differing from the behavior for amorphous material, and the largest FAR value was obtained for Co0.3Ni0.7 alloy. The addition of a third transition metal to this alloy led to a decline in the FAR value in all cases; this decline is related to an increase in alloy resistivity.
