Abstract :
Significant improvements in the method for determining the absolute molar mass of silicon have been achieved and are reported. They have led to a reduction in the uncertainty of the molar mass and hence in its contribution to the uncertainty of a previously published Avogadro constant NA. The new value for NA is almost unchanged at 6.022 136 5×1023 mol-1 but the uncertainty is reduced to 0.000005 1×NA
