Abstract :
Disruptive innovations has a considerable influence over the planning and management of the development of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. Disruptive impact is defined as a pervasive change in the way main stream business is conducted and regulated and/or ordinary living is significantly changed, often in an unpredictable manner due to a disruptive innovation. The RFID technology also promises a large positive impact in smart appliances, manufacturing control, movement tracking, remote sensing, inventory control, data mining, and providing security/safety. Governments have been slow in regulating RFID because of the rapid speed of the technology´s development
