Abstract :
Calculation of electromagnetic field (EMF) in two-dimensional thin-wall structures in a strong screening regime is considered. Evaluation of a small magnitude total field in a strong screening regime is reduced to a successive computation of external field sources which provide ideal screening and auxiliary sources describing EMF in the interior of a screen. Applicability of this approach is demonstrated by screening effect calculation in shells with small openings. Error analysis is performed, and the numerical results for the screens in the form of a cylindrical shell and infinite thin wall with slits are presented
