Abstract :
Presented are the fade duration dynamics as observed in four close stations. Fade duration statistics derived from the collected received signal during a critical period in the region are presented and analysed. The obtained results are compared with the model release by the ITU-R P.1623 recommendation. Some modifications are then proposed.
