Abstract :
The algorithm of the optimal power loading strategy for a frequency-selective band limited channel with assigned value of the Shannon capacity, which minimises power of the transmitting multicarrier signal, is proposed. The comparison of this strategy with the uniform power loading shows that the offered strategy provides the power gain, which strongly depends on the dynamic range of the channel transfer function and can exceed 4 dB.
