Abstract :
The perpendicular magnetic anisotropy constant (Ku) of NdxFe100-x films reaches a maximum of 1 à 107 erg/cc at approximately x = 40. The Kerr rotation angle (¿K) remains at approximately 0.3° with little variation as x changes. For NdFeCo films perpendicularly magnetized, the coercive force Hc increased with the Co content. The temperature dependence of Ku in NdFeCo films was similar to that of NdFe films. The Curie temperature (Tc) of Nd40[Fe1-yCoy]60 increased from 400 K at y = 0 to 503 K at y = 0.25.
