Abstract
An antenna nulling system exploiting the duty cycle difference between the interference and the meteor burst signal was developed for combating interference experienced in broadcast meteor burst communications. Using an existing experimental broadcast meteor burst communication system, the impact of antenna nulling on communication statistics was measured both against an intentionally generated interference signal and against the benign or co-channel interference environment experienced at the reception site.<>
