Abstract :
The variation in grain texture with rolling and annealing in relatively thick rapidly quenched ribbon was studied. It was found that (110) recrystallized grains produced by secondary recrystallization begin to grow near 1000°C, and with a temperature increase of less than 50 degrees more, there is about 90 percent (110) recrystallized grain. Grain diameter also increases rapidly with recrystallization to an average of between 3 and 4 mm.
