Characteristics of an Improved Parametric Linear Motor

An improved element was experimentally produced for a parametric linear motor with the magnetic poles positioned on a straight line to overcome the situation in which the shifting magnetic field flux distribution is not homogeneous and good results were obtained. It was found that the flux distribution in the improved element was smoother than in the conventional element for a parametric linear motor, and that the flux was more effectively used in the improved element.
