Abstract :
This paper reports on investigation of the operating mechanism and basic features of a differential output type two-dimensional inclinosensor with a simple configuration based on the combination of a magnetic fluid (MF) and a magnetic core. Optimal MF volume at which output is maximal was found to be 0.5 cm3. The experiment showed that it is possible to measure a two-dimensional inclined angle from the differential output power with respect to the horizontal angle and the gradient angle.
