Abstract :
A new shape-sequence-based algorithm that can effectively generate key images from video clips is introduced. Generated key images can be used as the feature information in the browsing and retrieval of video clips from a multimedia database. Experiments with MPEG-7 data sets were performed, and the results are compared with existing methods
