            Abstract :
A 50 ps/nm-range of precise dispersion measurement with detection of its sign is achieved by phase comparison between two 43 Gbit/s single-sideband (SSB) signals generated by spectral filtering of the carrier-suppressed return-to-zero (CS-RZ) signal. The proposed scheme requires no wavelength or dispersion dithering, and no additional reference signal to detect sign of dispersion
