Abstract :
Herein are discussed the results obtained in Part 1. The ferromagnetism of FexMyO1-x-y (M: Si,Co) film samples is attributed to amorphous Fe and Fe-Co phases between column-like oxide structures; these ferromagnetic phases are believed to exist as thin strips directed perpendicular to the film surface, giving rise to an internal shape effect which contributes to the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy. Calculations of magnetic moments and of the magnetic anisotropy energy due to the shape effect confirmed this hypothesis.
