  • Abstract
    An RLL (run length limited) modulation code having a limited amount of error propagation and high density ratio is attractive for use in a high density storage system. The authors present a fixed-length (4, 20) RLL code with code rate m/n=4/11. The code design is based on the look-ahead coding method
