Abstract :
A pitch detection algorithm based on segmented autocorrelation is presented which exhibits improved rejection of formant interference and pitch period multiple errors, when compared to the standard autocorrelation method. In addition, the algorithm is computationally less intensive than a standard autocorrelation of the same window length
