Abstract :
An expression for the distribution function of the phase difference between two signals affected by slow and nonselective Nakagami fading and perturbed by additive Gaussian noise is derived. The effects of both signal distortion and noise correlation induced by the receiver filter are accounted for. The derived distribution function is used to calculate the symbol error rate of M-ary differential phase-shift keying signals
