Abstract
A new method for detecting the flux level in a magnetic core is proposed, which enables the use of artificial two-phase amplitude detection to improve the response time. Two cores are employed, with operating points set deep within the range of saturation to raise detection sensitivity and eliminate hysteresis effects, and a response time equivalent to one quarter-cycle of the driving voltage frequency was achieved.
