Abstract :
The authors studied the possibility of using the Hall effect in an amorphous ribbon to detect the gap magnetic flux and torque in an induction motor. The ribbon (Hall coefficient RH = 4.93 × 10¿2 cm3/C) was positioned for maximum sensitivity. Detection characteristics for several methods were compared and detection using the Hall effect was verified to be possible.
