Abstract :
Spatio-temporal dynamics of gain-guided semiconductor lasers are modelled based on the Maxwell-Bloch equations for a two-level homogeneously broadened single-mode laser. The influence of the carrier-sensitive mechanism, as carrier diffusion or injection current, on the dynamics of these gain-guided devices is studied
