Abstract :
In the above-named work (see ibid., vol.29, p.120-8, 1991) C. Bruning et al. present results that show the application of the velocity bunching model to synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images obtained during the Tower Ocean Wave and Radar Dependence (TOWARD) experiment. The commenters argue that some of the observations presented require classification and discussion. An attempt is made in this comment to clarify the issues and to present some new relevant results obtained from the SAR X-band and Ocean Nonlinearities: Chesapeake Light Tower (SAXON:CLT) experiment.<>
