Abstract
This paper contains a performance analysis of an error control protocol operating in a point-to-multipoint environment. This protocol, called broadcast go-back-
[BGB(

point-to-point protocol. Expressions for the message throughput and expected message delay are obtained. Numerical results are provided for a satellite communications system.
