Abstract
Nitrogen afterglow can be a source of nitrogen atoms employed in material processing where, in some applications, the absence of charged particles is important. To characterize this source, images of postdischarges are useful to aid in the design of reactors. Images of two kinds of nitrogen afterglow, the Lewis-Rayleigh and Pink, are presented.
