Abstract :
This letter presents a fluorescent-lamp improved arrangement in the half-bridge topology, putting one lamp in each branch of the converter. This arrangement allows a multilamp independent behavior. So, if one lamp is damaged, the other one keeps on working. In order to prove this independent arrangement, experimental results of one electronic ballast supplying two lamps with different wattage were shown
