Abstract :
A device for visualization of the magnetic fields in the range 10-105 Oe by the magneto-optical method with spatial resolution ~10 microns is proposed. Thin epitaxial ferrite-garnet “easy axis in-plane” films were used as the measuring element. The dynamic range of the device was limited by 8-bit frame-grabber and radio-frequency circuit noise and was really equal to 42 dB. To broaden the range of visualized magnetic fields a set of epitaxial films with different parameters were applied. Some possible applications of this device are considered
