  • Abstract
    The advantage of a hydrogen bubble chamber - i.e. production on free proton -, can be combined with that of the heavy liquid bubble chamber - i.e. detection and measurement of neutral particles, by inserting a liquid hydrogen target in a heavy liquid bubble chamber. Three different targets have been adapted and used successfully for experiments with 8 GeV/c ¿- (240,000 photographs), 16 GeV/c ¿- (150,000 photographs) and 2 GeV/c ¿ + (230,000 photographs). The last experiment is in progress.
